Alcúdia has retained Ecovidrio's green flag after scoring 1,467 points in the summer Green Flags campaign. EMSA representative Laura Serra and Ecovidrio's Ivan Tolsà confirmed the result to Alcúdia Ràdio, which reported it on 23 October 2026.
The campaign aims to strengthen glass recycling during the summer. August's information had already identified 103 participating restaurants, bars and beach kiosks in Alcúdia and described a Viu l'Estiu children's awareness activity involving drawings and a draw for two miniature recycling containers.
Those activities form part of the campaign's background. The source does not attribute the score to one activity or give a tonnage of glass recovered in this update.
