On 2 September 2026, resurfacing work on several streets in Alcúdia was announced, with completion planned for 4 September. The contractor was Afex, obres y servicios 2013 S.A. Letters were sent to residents of carrer Pollentia and Plaça de Carles V asking them to remove wooden furniture, parasols, tables and chairs.
