Alcúdia Town Council had installed twenty solar streetlights on des Puig and Xara streets, according to information reported by Alcúdia Ràdio on 21 August 2026.
The lights used a self-contained solar-powered system. The municipal announcement presented the installation as an improvement to lighting on the two streets.
